End of September Update

Here are some updates for everyone:

UTAP Kick-Off date is Friday, October 12th at BCC

CPT
All UTAP students should have the opportunity to take the CPT before the end of October! Remember juniors and seniors, you need an 83 in English and Reading to qualify for dual enrollment and to avoid remedial college classes.

JUNIORS & SENIORS
Must take BOTH the ACT and the SAT before December!

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a great summer; I know mine wasn't long enough!
Most of you have seen me but if you haven't, I'll be in your class within the next few days.
I'd like all students post a comment regarding the following questions:

1. Have you checked to make sure your schedule is correct?
(are you taking classes that meet your graduation requirements?)

2. Have you turned in community service hours you served over the summer?

3. Do you have a working biography about yourself including your interests, current goals and future goals?
(I was going to ask all students to post these, but I don't think anything personal should be published on the web. Instead, email them to me--your teachers have my address!)

4. Have you joined FFEA?

Remember, if you need any help with anything, ask your UTAP teacher!
